ABOUT IVY

Ivy Calvert is a Nashville-based soprano with an effortless upper register. Her 25/26 season begins with a role debut as Zerlina in Don Giovanni with Canto615.

Ms. Calvert’s 2024–25 season included her debut with Intersection Music as Emily in Gillian Rae Perry’s new opera The Weight of Light, as well as a role debut as Sophie in Werther with Canto615. She also competed as a semi-finalist in the 2025 Partners for the Arts National Competition. Engagements in the 2023–24 season included The Page and Countess Ceprano (cover) in Rigoletto at The Atlanta Opera and Rosina in The Barber of Seville for the company’s Studio Tour. She also made her Nashville Opera debut as the Third Spirit in The Magic Flute.

Additional credits include Monica in Menotti’s The Medium (Amarillo Opera) and concert appearances with Festival Napa Valley (Serenade to Music), Wexford Festival Opera (Bernstein à la carte), and the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra (Tea & Trumpets series and annual Traditional Christmas Tour).
